Standard Alarm Tones (AS 2220)

Facilities with automated fire alarm systems use specific tones. Wardens must know exactly how to react to each.

Conducting an Area Sweep

As a Warden, you must clear your designated area before leaving. You must check all spaces, including under desks and behind closed doors.

Evacuation Support (P.E.E.P.)

A Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (P.E.E.P.) is designed for occupants who require assistance. Lifts (elevators) cannot be used during a fire alarm.
